SUVA, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Fiji's economy has been severely hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the weekend markets in the capital city of Suva had been closed for months.
As the pandemic eases currently, Fiji has given green light to the resumption of weekend markets. The weekend market is being held beside the Fijian government building with a limited number of vendors on the third Sunday of every month. Local Fijians love this market for its unique handmade products and delicious food.
